
Myrtle Beach was the second most popular driving destination for New Yorkers this past week, according to a AAA New York survey.
Newsday reported that AAA said Myrtle Beach ranked behind Washington, D.C., and ahead of Ocean City, Md. New York AAA members, who usually have higher-than-average incomes, are 1.5 times more likely to go on road trips than members in the rest of the country and Canada.
